7 Days Wildlife Adventures

Day 1: Samburu

Drive north for 3-4 hours to Samburu Game Reserve. Lunch and afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp.

Day 2: Samburu

Whole day of game drives in Samburu. Samburu Park lies in the semi-arid north and is habitat to some rare and endemic animal species such as Gerenuk, Grevy zebra and Beisa Oryx. It’s the home of Kamuniak, the famous lioness who adopted a baby Oryx. Overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp.

Day 3: Aberdares

Breakfast and then check out and drive past Mt Kenya to the Aberdare Mountain for lunch at Outspan Hotel followed by transfer to Treetops Lodge inside the Aberdare National Park. In the evening you will watch elephants and other animals as they congregate at the waterhole.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru

Descend into the Great Rift Valley and drive to Lake Nakuru for game drives. Lake Nakuru is a world famous bird and rhino sanctuary where thousands of flamingos congregate to feed on Spirulinaplatensis, a blue-green alga that grows naturally in the lake. Found here as well are plenty of other interesting wildlife and birds such as the white rhino, leopard, lion, waterbuck, buffalo, impala, warthog, pelicans and a plethora of other birds. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 5: Masai Mara

Morning game drive as we leave the park. Transfer to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. Game includes Rhinos, Wildebeests and Lions among others. Dinner and Overnight at Ol Moran Tented Camp.

Day 6: Masai Mara

Breakfast and then spend the whole day on game drives in search of elephants, zebras, leopards and other plain game. Dinner and Overnight at Ol Moran Tented Camp.

Day 7: Nairobi

Leave after breakfast for transfer to Nairobi.
