Samburu National Reserve
Samburu lies in northern Kenya, a semi-arid region. The Ewaso Nyiro river flows through the reserve, giving life to an otherwise hot and dry environment. Samburu is the home of five rare wildlife species, popularly known as the “Samburu Special Five” - Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx.
